01. Travis Scott - SKITZO

Travis Scott’s ‘SKITZO’ comes in with a whopping 6-minute runtime; and it absolutely beats your ass. Beat switches come like head-body combos, bound to leave you on the mat. Travis is rapping all the way throughout, reminding the world of his knack for getting busy with the pen. Young Thug even pops up here, delivering his signature oddball flows that will have you reminiscing on the Barter 6 era. It’s one of many jaw-dropping highlights on the long-awaited UTOPIA, which you can stream NOW!

02. BIA – MILLIONS

MILLIONS’ is BIA at her best. Her raspy cadence sounds right at home on the bellowing trap beat, as she toggles through a series of flex-heavy affirmations. It’s one of many bangers on her new project REALLY HER, which you can stream now.

03. Unknown T - FREE SLIME / SEXY GIRLS ft. Lancey Foux

Unknown T sounds as if he’s reaching the next level of his artistry on this new cut. It starts off with vigorous drill, which the London rapper approaches with rapid flows and amplified energy. The second half of the song morphs into an onslaught of synths, where the left-field frenzies of Lancey Foux begin to fire off, and Unknown T switches to woozy, autotuned bars. It’s a rollercoaster of rampant raps.

04. Yeek - $$$$

Yeek’s voice thrives at the forefront of ‘$$$$’. Each howling melody is propelled by bellowing kick drums and stabs of acid bass that slowly build into a Jersey club-like tempo in the latter half. It’s a testament to the multifaceted talents of the singer-songwriter.

05. Yawdoesitall - DOOFENSHMIRTZ ft. Tawanda, DEVAURA

Yawdoesitall’s ‘DOOFENSHMIRTZ’ is bound to get your blood pumping this afternoon. The drums have a simple arrangement but smash through the mix with percussion and KO-punch kicks. Distorted bass and flurrying choir samples give it an arena-ready feel, similar to something you’d hear off My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Yaw, Tawanda, and DEVAURA blast viscerally through their verses, delivering some of the best raps you’ll hear all year.

06. Tkay Maidza - Ring-a-Ling

Tkay’s ‘Ring-a-Ling’ is a club-ready banger. The thumping sub-bass, alarm-like synths and snappy snares call Tkay’s bars to action, which she delivers with a high-octane urgency and ear-catching cadence. The track closes out with Tkay layering airy melodies, setting the tone for the versatility you can expect on her sophomore album Sweet Justice, dropping in November.

07. Voldy - OKOK (WORK) ft. IJALE, OX4ORD

On ‘OKOK (WORK)’. IJALE, VOLDY, and OX4ORD bring a smooth energy to the beat, effortlessly flowing atop some dreamy synths and rapid-firing drum patterns. The result is some high quality raps meeting the sweaty heat of a dancefloor.

08. Trippie Redd - Last Days

Trippie Redd’s ‘Last Days’ is a dose of melancholy. It samples the somber tones of Deftones’ ‘Sextape’, serving as the bed of sound Trippie unleashes his passionate warbles over. This rap-ballad serves as a teaser for his upcoming project A Love Letter To You 5, dropping August 4th.

09. Hooligan Hefs - And We

Hooligan Hefs ditches the doof-ready dance rap he’s become known for the sounds of early 2000s hip-hop on ‘And We’. The boom-clap bounce of the production sounds as if it comes right from 50 Cent’s The Massacre, and Hefs is harnessing a sense of braggadocio that suits it perfectly. It’s a more than welcome switch-up from the rapper.

010. Miggy - Play Me ft. A.GIRL

Miggy’s production shines on ‘Play Me’. Dreamy synths swarm to create an extraterrestrial feeling, kept in orbit by some bouncy drum patterns. A.GIRL traverses the atmosphere of the track with some smooth, soulful croons. It’s both catchy and satisfyingly off-kilter.
